The subconscious is like a ghost in the attic. We know it's there and that it can scare or intrigue us, but we never fully know what is keeping it from resting at peace. Because of this, we never truly sleep alone. Throughout the night, our subconscious reveals what it is we deeply want, need and feel. As the visuals unfold, we stir in our sleep, wading through it all. When we wake, we often don't remember what truths or illusions have been told to us behind our eyelids, but we know it was there.
